Self-Guided Eastport Annapolis Walking Tour

If you haven't ventured over the Spa Creek Bridge from Annapolis to Eastport yet, let today be the day! Eastport is definitely worth exploring, and this self-guided walking tour features 9 fun things to do and see in the charming Eastport MD area.

  1. Leon Wolfe Park

Once you cross the bridge into Eastport, your first stop will be at one of the many cozy street-end parks that offer stunning water views of the Chesapeake Bay. Leon Wolfe Park let's you take a breath and soak up the maritime atmosphere.

  1. Bread and Butter Kitchen

This Eastport staple is a must-visit, and what a view! Bread and Butter Kitchen prides itself on working closely with local farmers and vendors to use local ingredients in their delicious breakfast and lunch options. I really enjoy their homemade bakery treats and the turkey avacodo sub. They also offer several vegetarian options, which is great since my daughter follows a vegetarian diet.

  2. Annapolis Maritime Antiques

This is a great place to find nautical gifts, both antique and new. Annapolis Maritime Antiques' claim to fame is providing "unique things from the Seven Seas" and it appears to be true! This beautiful and historic shop is a fun stop in our Eastport walking tour.

  3. Horn Point Park

Another charming Eastport street-end park, Horn Point Park offers a relaxing escape. This park has spectacular water views and even features a small beach area. It's a popular local spot for unwinding and appreciating its beautiful bay surroundings.

  1. Oscar's Coffee

This vintage travel trailer turned coffee stand is a treasured Eastport gathering spot. Oscar's Coffee is all about community, dogs and inclusion - which I love! I just discovered this awesome spot and plan on coming back frequently. They offer all sorts of coffee and tea drinks, as well as bagels and waffles.

  1. Annapolis Maritime Museum

If you are interested in learning about the Chesapeake Bay and the maritime history of Annapolis, this is a great stop! The Annapolis Maritime Museum is housed in the historic McNasby Oyster Company building, with stunning views of the bay. Inside, you'll find interactive exhibits, and outside, you can sail on the Skipjack Wilma Lee, one of the last commercial sailing fleets in the US. The museum offers a full calendar of events and programs just for visitors.

  1. Davis' Pub

You can't come to Eastport without stopping into Davis' Pub! It's a true locals hangout. Opened in the 1920's as a general store, then a lounge for local watermen in 1940's, Davis' Pub has remained a fun neighborhood bar and restaurant. With a casual and friendly atmosphere, the pub offers delicious food at a great price.

  1. Eastport "Main Street"

I view the area around Severn Ave and Fourth St as Eastport's "Main Street". In this area, you'll find a variety of fantastic casual dining options, such as Boatyard Bar & Grill, Forward Brewing and Adam's on Fourth. For a more upscale experience, I recommend Carol's Creek Cafe or O'Learys Seafood. You won't be disappointed!

  1. Eastport Murals

Part of Eastport's quirky charm is discovering the handpainted murals around town. You never know where they are going to show up! Keep an eye out for these delightful artworks on your journey.

I hope you enjoy these 9 fun things to do in Eastport MD, Annapolis's hidden gem!
