I like to call this adventure the Resort Row Walk because you'll pass by some amazing resorts in the first half of the route. Start your walk near the pickleball courts and Harvey Rest Beach Park—there's lots of free parking around there.
The first resort you'll come across is Casa Marina, right at the corner of Reynolds and Seminole Street. Henry Flagler built it back in 1920, and it's been a hotspot for US Presidents and Hollywood stars every since. Swing by to check out the lobby, and don't miss the beachside pools, bars, and restaurant.
Keep going past the Coconut Beach Resort, and at the corner of Waddell and Vernon, you'll stumble upon one of my favorite restaurants, Louie's Backyard. It's perfect for watching the sunset, and the food is amazing. Right next door is Dog Beach, where well-behaved dogs can have a blast playing in the sand and swimming in the ocean.
You can keep going on the sandy road by Dog Beach to check out The Reach Resort. They've got an amazing beachfront with pools, a picturesque gazebo, and The Four Marlins Restaurant.
As you head down the road, there's a quick detour at the corner of South Street and Duval. You can check out Duval Pocket Park here. It's a small park with a pier where you can stroll out and enjoy stunning water views and catch a glimpse of The Southernmost Beach Resort.
Next up is the Southernmost Buoy. It's a super popular spot, so get ready to wait in line for a pic with this iconic landmark. After that, you'll head back to Duval Street. This part of Duval has one of my favorite attractions, the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory. It's a must-see if you ask me. Enjoy all the awesome restaurants, bars, and shops as you make your way north on Duval.
We're heading into a quieter part of town now. If you keep going down Truman, you'll pass by the Basilica of Saint Mary Star of the Sea. The Our Lady of Lourdes grotto is pretty fascinating, and the locals believe it's been keeping Key West safe from major hurricanes since 1922.
You'll stroll through many different neighborhoods and finish up at the Key West AIDS Memorial and White Street Pier. The pier is a wide concrete walkway that stretches a quarter mile into the ocean, offering awesome views and perfect photo ops.
Hope you had fun on this walk! Key West is an amazing spot with tons of cool places to check out. Keep an eye out for more walks!
